Fees vary depending on the type of assessment, complexity of the work, and applicable funding arrangements, including NDIS and other referral pathways. Our fees are guided by relevant national pricing frameworks and professional social work fee benchmarks.All pricing reflects the complexity of assessment, report requirements, and associated professional time. As each situation is unique, fees are confirmed following an initial review of the request or referral.
NDIS Participants
Social Bloom Co. are able to provide services to clients who are privately managed (not plan managed). Services for NDIS participants are delivered in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements & Price Limits (2025–26), with fees set at the maximum rate permitted under the scheme for social work assessment services. Private Clients
Fees for private clients are set at $220 per hour, in alignment with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) recommended private practice fee benchmarks for senior social work and assessment-based services.
Aged Care Participants
Aged care services are charged in line with AASW recommended private practice rates depending on assessment complexity and reporting requirements (AASW, 2025).
WorkCover & Injury Management
WorkCover and injury management assessments are delivered in accordance with the WorkCover Queensland Tables of Costs, which define approved maximum rates for allied health and independent assessment services. Fees are set according to relevant item codes and insurer requirements and may include bundled assessment and report writing components. All services are subject to insurer approval.

All services are guided by current industry frameworks, including the NDIS Pricing Arrangements, WorkCover Queensland Tables of Costs, and AASW professional fee guidance. We are able to work with individuals, support coordinators, insurers, and legal or advocacy representatives.

After Hours Appointments
For appointments scheduled at 8:00am or 4:45pm and later, a $20 after-hours surcharge applies in addition to standard service fees for assessment and ongoing work.
Saturday Appointments
Weekend appointments are available on a limited basis for urgent or priority needs and are charged at 30% above standard service fees. Please get in touch to confirm current pricing, ensuring full transparency and allowing you to make an informed decision.
Initial Consult Bookings
No upfront deposit is required for initial consultations. Fees for the initial consultation are incorporated into the total service cost and invoiced upon completion of the assessment or report.
Cancellations
Due to the time required to prepare for assessments, complete reporting work, and the high demand for appointment times, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows the allocated time to be offered to another client.

As the practice is closed on Sundays, Sundays are not included in the notice period. For example, if your appointment is scheduled for Tuesday at 3:00 pm, cancellation would need to be received before 3:00 pm on Saturday to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees apply as follows:
