Understanding your fees
Clear information about fees and funding
before services begin.
Fees are based on the type and scope of service, funding arrangement and individual circumstances. An estimate of anticipated fees will be provided before services commence.
NDIS FUNDED SERVICES
Services are availible to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Fees for NDIS funded services are charged in accordance with the applicable NDIS pricing arrangements and Price Limits.
​
NDIS pricing is subject to the current applicable NDIS price limits.
PRIVATE & OTHER
REFERRALS
Services are also available to individuals, families, organisations, insurers and other referrers outside of NDS funding.
​
Professional fees are informed by current AASW fee guidance, together with the nature and scope of the service required.
A quote will be provided based on the individual referral. ​​

Understanding your fees
More then the appointment
Assessment services often involve work beyond the face-to-face or Telehealth appointment. Depending on the purpose and complexity of the referral, billable time may include the following:
01. Assessment & consultation
Time spent completing interviews, observations and assessment activities.

02. Standardised assessment tools
Administration, scoring and
interpretation of assessment tools
where appropriate.
​
03. Report preparation
Analysis of information, formulation of findings, recommendations and preparation of written report. ​
04. Document review
Review of relevant reports, records and supporting information.
​
05. Professional liason
Consultation with family, supports, treating professionals or other relevant services where required.
​​06. Travel
​Travel time and applicable travel costs where an in-person service requires travel.
TRAVEL
When travel is required
Social Bloom consulting provides mobile and
community-based services were appropriate.
​
Where travel is required to deliver a
service, travel time and applicable
travel-related casts may be charged
in accordance with the relevant
funding arrangement or agreed fee schedule.
​​
Any anticipated travel charges will be
discussed with you prior to confirming service.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
Know what to expect
The overall cost of an assessment depends on the scope of work required rather than the appointment time alone.
​
Before services commence, we will consider the purpose of the referral, information available, assessment requirements and anticipated reporting needs to provide an estimate of the likely cost.
​
If the scope of work changes significantly during the assessment this will be discussed with you before additional work is undertaken.
CANCELLATIONS
Changes to appointments
Cancellation fees may apply where appointments are cancelled with insufficient notice where a client does not attend a scheduled appointment.
​
Any applicable cancellation charges will be outlined prior to commencement of services and applied in accordance with the relevant funding arrangement and Service Agreement.
